A day of Sunshine and new faces

For once, Pandora took the day off to relax. She had brought a bag with her to the beach, containing; 2 towels, a bottle of water, some snacks, sunglasses, a pillow and that was it. She found an empty spot in the sun, and laid one of the towels down but not before grabbing four rocks to place in each corner. This prevented the towel from flying off in the wind, and being blown out to sea. The bag she put beside the towel, keeping the water as cool as she could inside it. It was a special bottle, which had two compartments inside it. One for water, and the other for ice. The beach was strewn with many different Fluff-Paws of height, weight, coloration, and patterns. The breeze was gentle, giving the skin a breather each time it brushed through her furs. She laid down, her head on the pillow and the sunglasses slid easily over her eyes, shielding them from the sun. Finally, she was able to relax. Her breathing slow and deep, she was content listening to the soft waves crashing against the golden sands, and the seagulls chirping above.

Sharul paddled hard and fast, as the heavy wooden life boat reached the shore. He was on a special mission from his captain; to find something new and interesting. His captain sent him on this quest by himself, sort of as a punishment for the pranking he has done in the past. He reached the shore, and tethered the wooden life boat around a palm tree near by with a scratchy rope. He sighed as he lifted up his heavy sachel filled with supplies such as a dagger, a magnifying glass, and a big journal, so he could document the new things he saw. He hadn't been at the beach in years, and as he set foot onto the soft sand, he nearly fell over. Being out at sea made setting foot on solid around awkward and new. As soon as he found his balance, be began to look around, using his dagger to cut branches and leaves out of the way. He was making a ton of noise, but he didn't seem to care.

Her ears flicked, constantly listening in to her surroundings. This place was notorious for pirates and other murderous creatures, meaning even IF she was relaxing, she could not fully let her guard down. Out of the blue she heard the swipes of something metallic hitting branches and vines. Creeping open an eye, she sat up to investigate and after following the source of the noise, her eyes fell upon a figure with very aquatic traits. He resembled a shark quite closely, and silently admired his physique. Though something seemed off about him.. Was he foreign? He did not seem familiar or comfortable on land. Rolling her eyes and scolding herself for being so invested in her work, she pushed herself to investigate. Standing up, she walked toward him with a calm, collected gait but also with a certain confidence about herself. "Are you new here?"

He huffed as he felt like he wasn't alone on this beach, but that didn't bother him too much. He stopped as he heard footsteps coming toward him. He whirled around and saw a unfamiliar face, questioning him. He wobbled a bit, but he tried to make himself big and threatening. "I guess I am, are you?"

Pandora raised a brow at his attempt to seem threatening. Her muscles flexing as she crossed her arms, her abdomen muscles the most defined. "I'm not, no. I find it amusing though, how a creature generally adapted to the sea cannot remain balanced on sand." She let out a light chuckle, and stepped closer toward him. "And where might you be from, eh?" She asked him, a grin pulling at the corners of her lips.
