The Pirate and the Mage

Kyle grinned and he stepped off his ship, a large crate in his paws. Beside him stood a shorter fluff, who was holding a smaller crate. "It's been a while since we've been here." The smaller FluffPaw, seemingly a female, glanced up at the brute. "Wouldn't you agree, Kyle?"
"Eyy. It has been a long time." The captain, Kyle, responded. "I wond'er what's changed."
The female snorted. "There sure are more guards around, that's for sure." She growled. She disliked guards as much as any other pirate, even though she wasn't as brutal as most.
Kyle looked at her. "There are always guards aroun' here, this is the town with the most pirate activity." He shook his head. "I suppose there's a bit more commotion. C'mon, let's just go drop these boxes off and head out."
